Price- cheaper price will have bigger return on investment and estimating the price of project

Lease repayments – if we order material beginning of month, we don’t have to pay for that till end of next month

Yes. Builders must keep detailed overview about their business to run it with maximal profit.
Excess stock consumes valuable working capital and inadequate stock causes delays and expensive loss of productivity on the building site.
Q3 Explain what effect the ‘quantity ordered’ has on purchasing for a building project? (6 marks)
It can vary in amount we will pay. If we order more material (over-ordering) we need, we will pay carelessly more. Then we will have problems with storage and possible theft or weather damaging.
If we order not enough material (under-ordering), we will lose productivity on site and money, possible disputes with client and not enough work for own workers.

• Security of payment act refers to any system designed to ensure that contractors and sub-contractors are paid even in case of dispute.
• SafeWork act-Collect data and statistics and develop and evaluate national policy, issue licensing insurers and works with workers compensation.
