You can also participate in murgas or comparsas.
People who like dressing up should attend the costume parades. Participants wear special clothes, dance, and walk alongside the coaches. The coaches are cars or lorries decorated with many colorful items, and they play music. When the costume parades finish, people can go to a square and dance all night.
On the other hand, in Indianos, people must wear white clothes, glasses, and a hat. Indianos consists of dancing a lot and throwing talcum powder at people. It originated in La Palma.
