Dante’s Paradise: A Journey Through the Heavens

Dante’s Journey Through Paradise

Beatriz continued her reproaches of Dante’s remorse before the infidelity. The procession moves away again, and Beatrice acts as a guardian of the church. Beatrice gives a series of warnings to Dante and also explains the vicissitudes suffered by the chariot. Dante and the church are preparing to climb to the stars.

Paradise

Canto I: Preface of Paradise – The glory of Him who moves everything pervades the universe. Dante invokes Apollo to fill him with worth. Dante continues to admire his ascent to Paradise, and Beatriz calls his attention, saying, “Thou shalt not then admire what I think most of your ascension. The greatest thing in you would be freedom from any obstacle; you had sat down, as would be the living flame that stood still and lifeless to the earth.”

Canto II to V: First Sky, the Moon: The Souls That Did Not Meet Their Vows

Dante tells us that the water which has never been flown, Minerva blows her candle, and Apollo leads the nine muses that teach the bears. He also expresses the wonderful feeling of entering the moon, referring to this as a daisy that received within. Beatrice explains that the moon has spots that are the different virtues.

Dante sees weakened images and believes that there will be no continuation of his journey with his guide (Beatriz), but she said they really were substances that had failed in their vows and said that they believe everything they tell him the true light that prevents crooked housed in their footsteps. Here souls are in a very slow field, and those souls are under quiet calm. Dante understands now because everything is paradise in heaven and asks if a vow can be satisfied with a good deed. To which Beatrice replied that if you think you can make good use of what has already been offered, it is as if he wanted to do a good deed with a bad thing gained, and Dante finds a glowing soul that speaks and hides within its same brightness.

Canto VI and VII: Second Heaven, Mercury: The People Who Practiced Bias to Achieve Fame and Honor – We spoke about a few characters who walked with his words to the true faith and how God helped them make great works of Dante, and Beatrice explained because man needed God to send his daughter to save us from sin.

Canto VIII and IX: Third Heaven, Venus: The Souls That Were Subject of Love – In this heaven, love is mentioned. Dante passed to this heaven, and Beatrice is more beautiful. He talks about why children have different characters to those of the parents, that if man is built on foundations of nature, there would be best people in Him, and curses of parents who only think about money.

Canto X to XVI: Fourth Sky, The Sun: The Souls of the Wise – It shows the great wisdom God created the world. The sun rises, and Dante and Beatrice tell him thanks the sun angles for your kindness you have been raised to this sun-sensitive. Here are more vivid and triumphant spirits.

Dante is about holy lights singing and dancing after finishing referred to them, welcoming the move from side to side and that men should not venture into the trials. We expressed the joy and glow after the resurrection of the flesh. It is said that when we clothe the glorious and holy flesh, our person will be much more pleasing to God and that he who takes up his cross and follow Christ all will be better.
