In the center of Bormujos, you’ll find a long street called “Calle Real.” This bustling street is lined with shops on both sides, offering everything from supermarkets and bars to banks and restaurants. It’s a lively place where people come to shop and socialize every day.
Another notable landmark is the famous “Plaza de Santiago.” This square is home to an old church on the right side, the Church de la Encarnación, which is over a century old. Across the street, on Calle Enmedio, you’ll find a library with a vast collection of books and magazines.

Daily Life in Bormujos
On a typical day, I wake up early, around seven o’clock. After showering, dressing, and enjoying a cup of coffee, I take the bus to work. I have a quick breakfast at eleven, usually a sandwich and coffee, and finish work at three. After taking the bus back home, I have lunch and then head to the gym for a workout. In the evening, I have dinner around ten, often soup and fish, and then relax by watching my favorite TV show before going to bed at twelve.

My friend Andrew is 34 years old and lives in Cadiz. She works in an office for a prominent company in Algeciras. She’s tall and thin with brown eyes and dark hair. My name is Francisco Ramos, and I’m 58 years old. I was born on December 2nd in Seville, Spain. I live in Bormujos on Port Street, number 12. I studied primary school in 1970 at JM Campos and later completed a cooking course for the unemployed in Andalusia in 2002. I’ve worked as a waiter in a restaurant and as an employee at a post office. Currently, I’m unemployed and studying secondary education for adults in Castilleja, Seville.

Bormujos is a small town with beautiful parks filled with flowers and trees, including palm trees. There are several bars where you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, as well as health food stores, restaurants, a large cinema, and unfortunately, no museum. My friend works at a Chinese restaurant and has a five-year-old dog that she walks every evening.

Bormujos has a rich history and friendly residents. While there are no mountains nearby, the town boasts stunning parks with an abundance of flowers, trees, and a beautiful fountain. The climate is mild in winter and hot in summer, and the town hosts a lively summer fair. There are plenty of places to enjoy a good cup of coffee, and I have a friend who works at a delightful Chinese restaurant.
A Day in the Life of Rafael
Yesterday, Rafael had a busy day. He started by taking the train to Cadiz at 7:30 am. At 10:00 am, he had breakfast with Mr. Jacobson, a potential new client in Gibraltar, at the Bay Café. At 12:00 pm, he went to the bank to open a current account. Afterward, he enjoyed tapas with his friends Antonio and Carmen for lunch at 2:00 pm. At 5:30 pm, he had a crucial meeting with Mr. Otto Schultz, the owner of a supermarket in Germany, at the Hotel Silver. Finally, at 9:00 pm, he bought a newspaper and took the train home. Before heading home, he made sure to call Juanma to wish him a happy birthday.

In the evening, he has dinner with his parents at 9:00 pm. After dinner, he checks his computer and answers emails, watches TV with his brother, and finally goes to bed at 11:00 pm.
