December Holidays and Traditions

The December holidays in my country are the best and are among my favorites because that’s when Christmas is celebrated. It’s also when I finish another semester at university, which is very relaxing. At Christmas, my whole family gets together, and we celebrate with a big dinner. We always exchange gifts. I also like to go to the Posadas that I’m invited to, to eat tamales and atole. On New Year’s, the whole family also gets together. We always break a piƱata, and we like to light pyrotechnics. I really like the December holidays because I enjoy getting together with my family.

Healthy Lifestyle Advice

Hi Mike,

My advice is that you should exercise more on the weekends to control your weight. You should go to the gym, but if you don’t like it, you can try playing a sport like basketball or soccer. You can do some activity such as dancing or yoga, which also helps your health a lot. You should drink plenty of water and have a healthy diet, including vegetables and fruits. You should try not to drink a lot of alcohol and avoid smoking. You should not eat junk food such as hamburgers, pizzas, and sodas. You can eat them sometimes, but don’t eat them every day.
