Essay Style
An essential condition for any essay is clarity of expression and transparency, allowing the reader to understand the authenticity of the thought presented. It should be:
- Concise and Clear: The essay should be well-defined and hierarchically organized. Classify and work on hierarchical relationships for clarity and conciseness.
- Precise: Avoid imprecise and ambiguous terms.
- Coherent: The direction and unity of the essay are determined by the logical articulation of sentences and paragraphs. It should have at least two basic levels: content and linguistic expression.
- Consistent: An essay gains consistency when its arguments do not admit contradictions.
- Substantiated: Main theses should be developed with argumentative depth.
Essay Purpose
The essay should act as a motor of expression, generating inquiry and critical thought, and producing new ideas. Writing a good essay requires a significant amount of relevant reading. In short, phrases, like colors, should be combined in a pleasing way.
