  • Intensivist: Medical Professional who specializes in the care of patients in intensive care.
  • Neonatology: Neonatologist (neo = new, natus = born) deals with diseases and abnormalities of the newborn.
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP): A licensed registered nurse with an advanced education that may work in collaborative practice with a physician or independently.
  • Obstetrics: Obstetrician (gynecologist) is the branch of medicine that is concerned with the management of females during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the period immediately following delivery.
