I currently work at Norel, an animal nutrition company, as a Coordinator for the Export Department.

My role is varied and involves sales and service support, administration support, order processing, and liaison with manufacturing and service divisions, including direct customer support.

I follow up on sales and service opportunities to secure business, create customer quotations, manage order processing, carry out export control checks, coordinate international logistics payments, and liaise with freight forwarders/couriers regarding letters of credit, transhipments, etc.

Biggest Mistake and Lesson Learned

A few years ago, my Manager conducted interviews to evaluate the work environment, and I suggested better internal communication. I had learned that our account number had changed, but neither the Export Department nor foreign customers were informed. My Manager agreed, but the chief accountant was not pleased, and it took time to regain their confidence. This taught me the importance of considering the impact of my suggestions on others.
