Formal Complaints: Plumbing, Hotel, and Laptop

Formal Complaint Regarding Plumbing Services

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to complain about the plumbing services provided by your technicians on May 8th. I had previously contacted you on May 6th to request a repair for a plugged pipe in my kitchen. An appointment was scheduled for May 8th at 11:00 AM.

Your technicians, Jack and Andrew, arrived at 1:00 PM, two hours late. They attributed their lateness to a “complication” with a previous appointment, but I received no prior notification of this delay.

After assessing the problem, they informed me that some pipes needed to be replaced. I authorized them to proceed with the necessary repairs. After approximately 45 minutes, they stated the work was complete and that the water was running correctly. I paid the $79.95 bill in cash.

However, on May 11th, I discovered a significant leak under the sink where the repairs had been made. The cabinet was completely wet, indicating a failure in the work performed by your technicians.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the poor quality of work and the subsequent damage. I request that you send different staff members to repair the pipes properly as soon as possible.

Yours faithfully,

Formal Complaint Regarding Hotel Stay

Dear Mr. Garcia,

I am writing to complain about the room I stayed in last weekend at the London Hotel on Oxford Street.

I have frequently stayed at your hotel on previous business trips to London and have always appreciated its comfort, quiet atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent location.

However, my recent stay with my girlfriend was significantly less pleasant than my previous experiences. We had reserved a double bed but were given a twin room. Upon requesting a change at reception, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no other rooms were available.

More disturbingly, on Saturday night, a wedding reception was held at the hotel. The noise from the party continued until 4:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep. Despite contacting reception, the issue was not resolved.

In conclusion, we were given an unsuitable room and endured a sleepless night. Due to this unacceptable treatment, I request a full refund. If I do not receive a satisfactory response, I will be forced to consider legal action.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Formal Complaint Regarding Defective Laptop

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about a defective Galaxy Book laptop that I purchased on January 19th of this year at Dufferin Mall.

I have always been a satisfied customer of your products, appreciating their quality, price, and exclusive models. I have previously purchased a cell phone and camera from your brand without any issues. Unfortunately, this has not been the case with the laptop.

While the laptop appeared to be in working order at the store, it completely stopped functioning the following day. No lights turn on, and despite testing the charger and battery separately (which both work), the laptop itself is non-functional.

I returned to the store on the 21st, but the staff refused to honor the warranty. I am writing to you directly because I believe your company is reputable and I hope you will address this issue. I have my purchase policy, ticket, and can provide access to the equipment for inspection. I request that you either validate the warranty and repair/replace the laptop or provide a full refund for my purchase.

If I do not receive a response or if this matter is disregarded, I will be forced to pursue all available legal channels, including filing a complaint with the relevant consumer protection institutions.

Yours faithfully,
