Project: Raising Autism Awareness

Meeting

I am going to tell you about our project. The first thing we will do is make a video showcasing clients who buy our product and have autism. Behind the scenes, we will need a trusted person from our company and a psychologist. The goal of this project is to raise awareness and understanding of autism. We envision a video featuring two people with autism who are clients of our company. The psychologist will be at the end of the video, talking for a minute about autism. The individuals we have chosen are named Marcos and Lucia. In the video, Marcos and Lucia will describe their daily lives and the things they enjoy most. I have already spoken to Marcos, Lucia, and the psychologist about the video, and they are just waiting for an email from me with the time and day to meet with those of us working on the video to discuss the details and meet the psychologist.

Business Trip Report: Peru

Introduction

This report provides an overview of a recent business trip to Peru, where we explored new markets for our autism communication facilitation products. During the trip, we met with potential clients, shared information, and gained insights into autism.

Objectives and Activities

Our primary objective was to meet with potential clients in Peru and explain the purpose of our trip, our goals, and our plans for the region. We also wanted to learn about the methods and objects they use for communication with people with autism and their understanding of autism. We aimed to share our perspectives and engage in a dialogue with families and individuals with autism.

We planned to give a presentation at a company with Peruvian professionals and psychologists specializing in autism spectrum disorder. Our presentation would cover our understanding of autism, the objective of our products in improving communication, and a video showcasing families with autistic members who use our products and their experiences. We also intended to open a discussion for families of people with autism spectrum disorder to share their experiences and ask questions.

We also planned to attend a talk by Peruvian professionals, including psychologists, integrators, and social workers, who would discuss autism and the needs of individuals with autism to improve their communication with those around them.

Finally, we would meet with the Peruvian professionals again to gather feedback on our presentation and share our thoughts on their talk. We would discuss their interest in our products, their suitability for improving communication, and their potential benefits for people with autism and their families.

Recommendations

We recommend increasing our understanding of autism, as we currently lack in-depth knowledge of the condition and the specific needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder for communication support. We suggest that when interacting with individuals with this disability, we inform ourselves about helpful resources, such as pictograms for daily routines and emotional range charts for non-verbal expression.

Our most important recommendation is to seek comprehensive information, going beyond the word of a single professional, to determine the best approach for supporting individuals with autism.

Positive Aspects of the Trip

The trip proved to be quite productive, with talks providing opportunities to connect with other professionals. We had positive interactions during meetings with representatives of the autistic community in Peru. Our communication aid products for people with autism generated significant interest, and we successfully showcased helpful objects through our exhibitions.

Negative Aspects of the Trip

. However we encountered some challenges, the expressions of communication between professionals and families with us became somewhat difficult. He showed us the importance of before making a trip to inform us of some expressions of the country where we are going Conclusion In conclusion, the business trip to Peru was quite rewarding, we achieved positive results, such as expanding into new markets and another point of view of the autistic aspect disorder, they showed great interest in our products is a promising sign for the growth of our company, although we faced some challenges but we knew how to face the
