Life Experiences: Gap Years, University, Village Life, and More
Disadvantages of Being an Only Child
- You can’t play with your brothers or sisters.
- Sometimes you feel alone.
- When you go on holidays, you feel bored.
- You have to do the housework alone.
- All the family problems are only for you.
Opinion on Having More Leisure Time
In my opinion, having more leisure time would not be a good idea because that would mean working less, and people would be more restless, potentially causing issues in public.
On the other hand, I reckon it would not be bad to spend more time at home, with friends, or playing video games, but this would not provide anything beneficial.
In conclusion, I am against it.
Is the Internet a Good Idea?
I think that the internet is a good thing.
I believe it is an important service.
First of all, we can play and send messages to other people in the world.
Secondly, we can search for all the information that we want.
I also believe that in the next few years, we will be writing our essays on the computer screen.
In conclusion, I think the internet has been and will be one of the most revolutionary and important inventions in history.
Advantages and Disadvantages of a Gap Year
I will talk about the advantages and disadvantages of having a gap year from my point of view. I think it would be cool to try it once.
On the one hand, there are several advantages. For example, you can enjoy free time, and during that free time, you can travel, or you can make new friends. With them, you can also learn new cultures, or you can learn new skills that you haven’t practiced before.
On the other hand, there are also several disadvantages, as you can forget some of your precious knowledge. You can also delay starting your training later than your friends, and you might lose touch with them and your family.
Finally, I don’t know if I would like to spend a gap year with those kinds of disadvantages.
Summary of Lazarillo de Tormes
Lazaro was born in Salamanca, and he is named after the Tormes River. His father was a thief, and his mother did not have money to take care of him.
Lazaro had to work for a blind beggar. The old man was really cruel to him. Lazaro didn’t have any food, so he began to steal wine and sausages from the blind man. It is said in the novel that Lazaro learned a lot of things about the cruel reality thanks to this period with the man.
Finally, Lazaro changed owners. The teen began to live with a priest who pretended to be rich. The priest was not cruel, but he did not have money to buy food. Lazaro discovered that a few weeks later.
The blind man and the priest were the most important gentlemen in his life, and they taught Lazaro how to be an adult.
