Nuclear Power, Public Smoking, Tablets, Racism, Multiculturalism, and Teenagers

Nuclear Power Plants: Pros and Cons

Nowadays, there are many nuclear power plants. For example, in Spain, there are plants in Tarragona and Caceres. Nuclear power is one of the most used energy sources in the world.

On the one hand, I am in favor of the existence of nuclear power plants because the components used in normal operation are not significantly radioactive to the environment. The small quantity of radioactivity generated is minimal compared to the energy produced.

On the other hand, I am against nuclear power plants for the following reasons: These plants have high security, but if an accident were to occur, the consequences would be terrible, as seen in the Chernobyl explosion. Another reason is that people associate the words “nuclear power” with “nuclear weapons,” which has a psychological effect.

In conclusion, I believe that nuclear power plants are beneficial to the population, but in terms of pollution, they can be highly detrimental.

Banning Smoking in Public Places: Benefits and Disadvantages

Many people who smoke complain about the ban on smoking in public places, while other people, non-smokers, think it is beneficial.

On the one hand, smokers always see disadvantages to this type of ban. Sometimes, they comply, but this is less common. The disadvantage that these people see is that they are not free to smoke anywhere. In fact, many of these people have filed complaints with councils.

On the other hand, the benefits of banning smoking in public places are significant. Usually, this is done to prevent the harm it causes to non-smokers. Moreover, it reduces environmental pollution.

In conclusion, from my point of view, all people must collaborate with this type of ban because it is more beneficial than harmful.

Tablets: Advantages and Disadvantages

Nowadays, tablets are used by the majority of people to do their jobs, but they have advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, tablets are not very difficult to use. New technologies are necessary nowadays. People can watch their favorite series freely through Wi-Fi. Many people use tablets for their jobs, and tablets have the advantage of storing everything in their memory.

On the other hand, many people think that tablets are harmful to their health. These new technologies are not accepted by some people because they prefer to use their hands.

In conclusion, in my opinion, tablets should be used, but with precaution for human health.

Is a Multicultural Society Possible?

In my opinion, a multicultural society must be tolerant, but there are people of different cultures who do not think so.

On the one hand, many people can be in favor of a multicultural society. Actually, there are many racist people. Usually, people tolerate them, and they are not more demanding of Black people or Latinos, for example.

On the other hand, another part of society is very nationalistic. They do not like to be in other countries. They do not like other cultures. They do not accept that other cultures exist apart from their own. Furthermore, they can be aggressive.

In conclusion, I think that a multicultural society is essential for people to have a general culture, and this benefits us.

Teenagers Value the Simple Things in Life

Are Spanish Teenagers Happy Nowadays?

In my opinion, all types of teenagers exist: many teenagers are happy with their lives, and other teenagers are burdened.

On the one hand, many Spanish teenagers are happy with their lives. Usually, teenagers are studying. They think that they are luckier than previous generations. Other generations, when they were in their teens, were obligated to work. Furthermore, parents are less demanding of their children now.

On the other hand, many Spanish teenagers think that they are not lucky. They are burdened because of their studies. Most of them are burdened because a task is difficult. Teenagers think that their parents are on their case, but everything is due to the burden.

In conclusion, I think that teenagers are very fussy, and everything seems difficult, but it is not.
