Parental Responsibility, Teacher Authority, and Physical Education in Schools

Parental Responsibility for Children’s Behavior

Should parents be more responsible for their children’s bad behavior in schools?

Personally, I think that parents should be more responsible for their children’s bad behavior. Parents must be good role models for their children always, and they must teach good behavior at home.

Firstly, if parents do not give their children good examples of how to behave, children won’t learn the difference between right and wrong. Secondly, if parents see that their children’s friends are not a good influence because they have bad behavior, parents must talk with their children about it and take more responsibility.

It is a well-known fact that if parents are more attentive to their children, children can change their bad behavior. In addition, bad behavior can be a consequence of the parents’ fault for any reason.

In conclusion, parents have to be more responsible for their children because they are the people who have the most control over the children and the most responsibility for their education. Teachers have less power than parents. Parents can punish bad behavior in many different ways.

Teacher Authority in Punishing Misbehavior

Should teachers have more power to punish badly-behaved students?

Personally, I think that teachers should have more power to punish badly-behaved students. Every day we hear stories about badly behaved children in schools, and teachers can’t do anything about this problem. They can only give them extra work or a small punishment, and children don’t change their bad behavior.

Firstly, if teachers can’t punish bad behavior, children don’t learn the difference between right and wrong. Secondly, it is very important that we must not forget that parents are the ones who have the most control over the children, so parents and family have to agree. I am convinced that if parents were more responsible for the bad behavior of their children, teachers would have more power to punish it. They would only have to talk with parents, and children would be punished at home.

In conclusion, I think that it is very important that children learn that they can’t have bad behavior at school. If they do, teachers should have more power to punish this bad behavior, or teachers should reach an agreement with their parents to punish it at home.

The Importance of Physical Education

Should Physical Education be a compulsory subject in schools at all ages?

Personally, I agree with the statement because Physical Education is my favorite subject. But there are many reasons to think that this subject should be compulsory in schools at all ages.

Firstly, exercise is good for children and students of all ages. Many children spend a lot of time watching TV and playing computer games. As a result, many children and young people are becoming overweight, and it isn’t good for our health.

Secondly, I agree because most children and students like this subject very much. When they are in class, they have to be still and quiet; however, when they do Physical Education, they can run, move, and, most importantly, they can discover their sporting talent. Students can discover if they enjoy a particular sport. It is also a good time for students because during P.E., they can forget about tests and other difficult subjects.

Another reason I agree that P.E. should be a compulsory subject in schools at all ages is because sports help people to work as a team and to be connected.

In conclusion, I feel that sport should be compulsory at all ages because it is good, fun for all ages, and essential for our health.
