These centers are key elements for the promotion, exchange of knowledge, training of professionals, and provision of a highly qualified staff.

Centers of Assessment and Guidance of Persons with Disabilities
These centers are responsible for the evaluation of impairment, determining the type and grade. The recognition of a degree of disability occurs after expert advice, optional equipment issued by the Assessment and Orientation (EVOS) formed in these centers. Structurally and functionally, they depend on the corresponding Provincial Delegation of the Ministry for Equality and Social Welfare (Decree 258/2005 of 29 November, regulating the organization and functions of the Centers for Evaluation and Counseling Persons with Disabilities in Andalusia).
Residential Centers
Residential centers are configured as resources for comprehensive care for those people who may not be assisted in their family environment, temporarily or permanently need it:
- Residence for the Severely Affected: Destined to serve, under boarding, persons with a disability so severe that they require the assistance of another person to perform activities of daily living and cannot be supported in their family environment. For adults.
- Residence: Designed to foster care and living, temporarily or permanent boarding, for people with disabilities who enjoy some personal autonomy and, for family reasons, have difficulty in family life and standard social integration.
- Sheltered Housing: Designed for people with disabilities who possess a sufficient degree of personal autonomy, consisting of small units of accommodation and living in buildings or areas of standard housing. Be fitted with the equipment and facilities for the accommodation, meals, and social support of their inhabitants. (10 people max.).
- Recovery Center for Physically Handicapped (CRMF): Depend on the IMSERSO. Offered on a residential and day basis, medical rehabilitation services and psycho-social function, cultural and professional, occupational, and leisure for people with disabilities who need physical, some or all of these services for recovery and/or social integration.
Residential Centers for Patients with Mental Health
People with less than 60 years and diagnosed with psychosis, who are derivatives and treated by mental health facilities, are the so-called:
- Nursing Homes: These are residential facilities and living accommodations for persons aged 18 years and older with low levels of personal autonomy due to a mental illness. Replacement has a function of the family home, either temporarily or permanently.
- Supervised Housing: Units of accommodation and living in buildings or areas of standard housing, designed for people with mental illness who have a sufficient degree of personal autonomy, so it does not necessarily require specific personnel for 24 hours.
Dependency: The residential schools may be typical of the central, regional, or local, and private, mostly publicly funded.
Application:
- Permanent public or by appointment: Provincial Delegations of ICSW
- Private spaces: Offices of the institutions themselves
- Places for people with mental illness: The derivation is carried out by mental health centers SAS. The Andalusian Foundation for Social Integration of the Mentally Ill (FAISEM) provides information on the centers.
Providing the users: 75% of their annual net income excluding bonuses.
Day Centers
These centers are designed as places for the care of those who may temporarily or permanently be integrated into a working environment-standardized, which, by its severity, may need continued attention and cannot be met by their family during the day.
Rating:
- Day Care Units: Aimed at attention in half-board, people with disabilities so severe that they depend on another for basic activities of daily living and cannot be met by their household during the day.
- Occupational Center: Centers that provide a useful activity, promote social integration of disabled people of working age, which, by their temporary or permanent disability, have no access to regular jobs or special. They are intended to provide personal and social adjustment, work habits, and normalize their lives.
- Pre-employment Workshops and Occupational Versatile: Centers for people with chronic mental illness, unable to access a job or training standard, and are derived and served by mental health facilities.
- Social Centers: Centers promoting the welfare of people with mental illness, aiming at promoting coexistence, participation, solidarity, and the use of leisure time, encouraging integration within the community and functioning as autonomously as possible. Its activity will be oriented to acquire a standardized lifestyle: schedules, distribution of free time, sports, crafts, cultural and educational activities.
Dependency: Can own centers of the central, regional, or local, and private, mostly sustained.
Application by public funds: In the very heart of the day. The Provincial Delegation of the ICSW provides information on day care centers.
- Places for people with mental illness: The derivation is carried out by mental health centers SAS. The Andalusian Foundation for Social Integration of the Mentally Ill (FAISEM) provides information on the centers.
Contribution of the users: On Day Care Units, 25% of their annual net income excluding bonuses. Occupational Center between 15%-25% depending on the services provided.
