John Visit: Restaurant and Activities

Hi John, I’m really excited about visiting next week! Thanks for picking out the restaurants; both sound amazing, but I’d prefer the Japanese one. I’ve always wanted to try authentic sushi, and this sounds like the perfect opportunity. As much as I’d love to go to the beach, I won’t be able to because I’ve caught a cold recently, and my doctor advised me to avoid too much sun. But I’m definitely up for other activities! Maybe we could visit a museum or go for a walk in a nice park instead? Let me know what you think. Can’t wait to see you!

Best, Stefanny

Exam, Peter: Urgent Missing Notes

Hi Peter,

I hope you’re doing well. I’ve run into a bit of a problem—I can’t find my notes for our upcoming exam next week. I’ve searched everywhere, but they seem to have disappeared. I was wondering if by any chance you’ve seen my notes or if I might have left them with you?

If not, would it be possible for me to borrow your notes? I’d really appreciate it, and I promise to take good care of them. If you could lend them to me, I’ll need them as soon as possible so I can start preparing.

Thanks so much for your help!

Best, Stefanny

Susan, Party: Can’t Go

Hi Susan,

I’m really sorry, but I won’t be able to make it to your party next Saturday. I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, I have a family event that I can’t miss on the same day.

I feel bad about missing out on the fun, but how about we catch up another time? Maybe we could grab coffee or lunch sometime next week; let me know when you’re free, and we’ll figure something out.

I hope your party is a blast, and I’ll make sure to join in next time!

Take care, Stefanny

Music at Home

Music is a huge part of my life, and I enjoy a variety of genres. My favorite is pop music because of its catchy beats and relatable lyrics. However, I also appreciate classical music for its calming effect and the way it transports me to another time.

When it comes to listening to music, I prefer doing it at home. At home, I can control the environment, making it a more personal experience. I can choose the perfect volume, relax with a cup of tea, and fully immerse myself in the melodies. While concerts are exciting and offer a unique atmosphere, I find that the comfort of my own space allows me to connect with the music on a deeper level. Music is truly a universal language, and wherever I am, it brings me joy.

Holidays: Beach vs. City

When it comes to holidays, I love a mix of relaxation and adventure. My ideal holiday involves a beautiful beach where I can unwind and escape the daily grind. The sun, sea, and sand offer a perfect retreat, allowing me to recharge and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Beach holidays are great for lounging, swimming, and enjoying fresh seafood by the shore.

However, I also have a soft spot for exploring big cities. The energy of urban environments, with their vibrant culture, historic landmarks, and diverse cuisines, provides an exciting and dynamic experience. Cities offer endless opportunities for sightseeing, shopping, and immersing myself in local traditions.

Ultimately, both types of holidays have their own unique appeal, and the choice often depends on my mood and what I need at the time.

Books: A Captivating Read

Recently, I read “Antes de Diciembre” by Joana Marcus, and it left a lasting impression on me. This contemporary romance novel is special because of its engaging storytelling and relatable characters. The book follows Jenna Brown, a university student navigating her feelings between a complicated long-distance relationship and a new romantic interest, Jack Ross.

What makes “Antes de Diciembre” stand out is its heartfelt exploration of love and personal growth. The author’s vivid descriptions and emotional depth drew me in, making me empathize with Jenna’s dilemmas and cheer for her journey. The narrative’s blend of romance and drama kept me hooked from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to anyone who loves a compelling love story with a touch of real-life challenges.

Sports: My Approach

I’m passionate about staying active, and I regularly practice dancing. Dancing is both a physical and artistic activity that I thoroughly enjoy. It allows me to express myself creatively while staying fit.

When it comes to choosing between indoor and outdoor sports, I have a preference for indoor activities. Indoor sports, like dancing or yoga, provide a controlled environment where I can focus on technique and practice regardless of the weather. I appreciate the comfort and consistency of indoor settings, which also allow me to avoid the challenges of changing weather conditions. However, I do enjoy outdoor activities occasionally, especially for a change of scenery and fresh air. Outdoor sports like hiking offer a great way to connect with nature and enjoy beautiful landscapes.

Overall, while I enjoy both environments, indoor sports align better with my personal preferences and lifestyle.

Food: Dining Preferences

One of my favorite foods is sushi. I love the freshness of the ingredients and the variety of flavors in each roll. The delicate combination of rice, seafood, and vegetables creates a satisfying and healthy meal that never gets old.

When it comes to dining, I prefer eating out rather than ordering in. Eating out provides a chance to experience different cuisines and enjoy the ambiance of various restaurants. I find it exciting to try new dishes and appreciate the skill and creativity of chefs. Additionally, dining out often feels like a special occasion, offering a break from routine and an opportunity to socialize. While ordering in is convenient for busy days, the experience of eating out offers a richer, more enjoyable dining experience.

School: Favorite Subject

In school, my favorite subject was always biology. I was fascinated by the complexities of living organisms and enjoyed learning about everything from cell structure to ecosystems. Biology was engaging because it offered hands-on experiments and practical applications that made the subject come alive.

When it comes to studying, I prefer doing so at home rather than in a library. At home, I’ve a comfortable and personalized environment that allows me to create a study space tailored to my needs. I can manage my time more flexibly and have easy access to my materials. While libraries are great for their quiet atmosphere, I find that the comfort and convenience of studying at home help me focus better and be more productive.

Peter and the Forest

As Peter entered the forest, he realized he was completely lost. The towering trees seemed to stretch endlessly, their thick branches blocking out the sun. He tried retracing his steps, but every path looked the same. Panic began to set in as the sky darkened, and the forest’s eerie sounds grew louder. Just as he was about to give up, Peter spotted a faint light through the trees. He followed it cautiously and soon stumbled upon a small, cozy cabin. Inside, an elderly woman greeted him with a warm smile and a cup of tea. She listened to his story and offered to help him find his way home. Grateful and relieved, Peter followed her directions, emerging from the forest just as the first stars appeared.

Sarah’s First Date

Sarah was really excited; it was her first date in months. She had been looking forward to this evening for weeks. As she arrived at the restaurant, she took a deep breath, smoothing her dress and checking her reflection in the window. The restaurant was charming, with soft lighting and cozy tables. When she saw Alex waiting at a table, her heart skipped a beat. They greeted each other with warm smiles and settled into conversation effortlessly. The evening was filled with laughter, delicious food, and engaging stories. As the night drew to a close, Sarah felt a sense of happiness and contentment. The date went perfectly, and she realized how much she had missed these simple joys. It was a night to remember.

Henry’s Unexpected Call

While he was cooking, Henry received an unexpected phone call. With a spatula in hand and pasta simmering on the stove, he glanced at the screen—an unfamiliar number. Curious, he answered, only to hear an excited voice on the other end. “Henry, it’s Emily! I’ve just returned from my trip and found something incredible!” she exclaimed. Emily was an old friend and fellow adventurer, known for her spontaneous finds. Henry, intrigued, asked her to elaborate. She revealed she had discovered an old journal in a hidden corner of an ancient bookstore—a journal that once belonged to a famous explorer. Eager to hear more, Henry invited her over. As the pasta boiled, Henry felt a surge of excitement for the evening ahead. It was shaping up to be a night of unexpected adventures and cherished memories.

Mike’s Childhood Friend

When Mike opened the front door and saw who was there, he couldn’t believe his eyes. Standing on his doorstep was his childhood friend, Sam, who had moved to another country years ago. Sam had always been full of surprises, but Mike never expected him to show up unannounced. “Surprise!” Sam grinned, holding a small suitcase. “I thought I’d drop by and catch up.” Mike’s jaw dropped, and he pulled Sam into a big hug. They spent the evening reminiscing about old times, laughing over shared memories, and catching up on each other’s lives. The unexpected visit turned into a heartwarming reunion, reminding Mike of the value of lifelong friendships and the joy of spontaneous moments.

Martha’s Departure

When the ship sailed off, Martha began to realize what she was leaving behind. The bustling port grew smaller as the ship moved farther from shore, and her hometown’s familiar landmarks faded into the distance. Martha stood at the rail, feeling a mix of excitement and sadness. She thought about the friends she was leaving behind, the cozy little café she frequented, and the quiet park where she had spent countless afternoons. Though she was embarking on a new adventure, the reality of saying goodbye was hitting her hard. As the sun set, casting a golden hue over the water, Martha took a deep breath. She reminded herself that while she was leaving her old life behind, she was also opening the door to new possibilities and experiences.
