Smoking Ban in Universities: Health, Respect, and Clean Air

Opinion: Smoking Ban in Universities

I agree that smoking shouldn’t be allowed in the universities of this country.

Firstly, smoke produces a lot of respiratory diseases, not only in people who smoke but also in those who are around. Smokers never consider if the person around them may have respiratory problems.

Secondly, the smell is disgusting. We go to the university to study and have classes, not to spend the entire class smelling a cigar. The worst thing is that the smell is very strong and impregnates clothes for a long time.

Finally, in my point of view, we are all free to do whatever we want, but people who smoke have to respect these places and the people around them. If they want to smoke, they should go to an appropriate place without disturbing anyone. For these reasons, I think that smoking should be banned in universities.

Descriptive: Lake Calhoun – A Summer Paradise

Lake Calhoun is a great place to swim and relax. In the summer, the water is warm and clean, and the beaches are large enough to accommodate groups of people seeking relief from a midsummer scorcher.

In addition to swimming, visitors to the lake can go canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, or fishing. The blue water is a refreshing, tempting sight. The sweet scent of sunblock wafts through the air from sunbathers lying on the beach. Children laugh and splash in the water, and nearby volleyball games stir passionate shouts in the heat of competition. Meanwhile, lifeguards sit atop their towers and make sure everyone is safe. In the distance, sailboats catch the soft breezes that cross the lake, and canoeists glide quietly past. This is what summer is all about!

  1. Start boiling water with about 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil for the noodles (they take the longest).
  2. While the water is heating, dice your chicken breasts into about 1-inch cubes.
  3. Heat your frying pan over high heat.
  4. Once the pan is hot, add 1 tablespoon of butter and let it melt slightly.
  5. Add your chicken to the pan and cook until browned on all sides and the center is white when cut in half.
  6. If the water is boiling, add your noodles to the pot.
  7. Once the chicken is cooked, add the two cans of Cream of Mushroom soup and the two cans of Cream of Chicken soup to the same pan.

And this is the best way to make chicken.
