Lines of Action for Social Integration

1. Craftsmen Network Program

This program offers a one-year scholarship for individuals undergoing treatment at drug rehabilitation centers. Participants attend a workshop to learn a trade, working up to 35 hours per week. During training, students receive a financial scholarship, and the craftsman-employer receives payment.

Objectives:

  • Facilitate and enhance the social integration of individuals recovering from drug addiction.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of knowledge through apprenticeship.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of social and work skills.

2. Archimedes Program

This program provides subsidies to companies that hire individuals undergoing detoxification. The subsidy amount varies depending on the type of contract.

Objectives:

  • Encourage the recruitment of individuals recovering from drug addiction.
  • Facilitate access to the labor market.

3. Social Intervention Program in Natural Areas of Andalusia

The Social Action Program in Natural Areas in Andalusia encourages the recruitment of individuals experiencing social exclusion or facing difficulties integrating into the labor market. It aims for effective integration by combining employment and environmental work, integrating socioeconomic and environmental perspectives in Andalusia.

Objectives:

  • Facilitate and promote the employment of disadvantaged individuals in the conservation, maintenance, and cleaning of natural areas, reducing unemployment and improving their quality of life.
  • Enhance cooperation between various authorities for planning joint actions to promote the socioeconomic development of the community.

Beneficiaries:

  • Young wards or former wards, including those in the Emancipation and Coming of Age Program (P+18).
  • Persons with disabilities.
  • Persons covered by the solidarity program.
  • Individuals with addiction problems undergoing therapy in a registered public resource belonging to the Andalusian network for drug addiction care.

Beneficiaries access the program through their respective centers, which include:

  • Provincial Centers for Assessment and Guidance for people with disabilities.
  • Guidance Units and Provincial Centers for Drug Addiction.
  • Provincial Offices: Services and Integration Action.
  • Provincial Offices: Services for Child Protection Centers.

4. Guidance for Employment Through the Vocational Guidance Units Network (AndalucĂ­a Orienta)

Objectives:

  • Provide support mechanisms for individuals recovering from addiction to facilitate the implementation and achievement of comprehensive social and work integration processes.
  • Promote activities that facilitate the approach of the labor market to individuals recovering from addiction.
  • Promote the development of attitudes necessary for social integration.
  • Involve social partners that can facilitate the socio-labor integration of the collective.
  • Provide individual guidance for employment and monitoring of the job search process for all users who may need it.
  • Promote meaningful occupation of time, promoting activities relevant to socio-labor integration.

5. Vocational Training Courses for Attendees at Outpatient Treatment Centers

Vocational training (VET) courses are offered to individuals attending outpatient treatment centers.
