Space Exploration vs. Earth’s Basic Needs

Space Exploration vs. Prioritizing Earth

British and American scientists have designed a more powerful telescope than Hubble. It is not known what kind of telescope Perry announced a budget for. It will be launched far apart from other telescopes. It will be built up as it searches for objects that lie beyond our current reach. A decision on the matter will be made soon.

Author’s Opinion on Space Exploration

In my opinion, I think that, I would say that, it is clear that exploring space seems to be of significant importance to the future development of humanity. However, if governments were to finance a project of some significance, they should choose to support our basic needs on Earth. The basis of my statement will be explained as follows.

To begin with, global warming is a serious problem for developed societies, and if it is not resolved as soon as possible, it will have a serious impact on future generations. Therefore, governments should take action against pollution sources in order to eliminate the effect. For example, the use of alternative sources of energy should be promoted, and cutting down trees on a whim should be banned. Additionally, they should make campaigns to raise awareness about taking better care of the Earth we live on. For instance: recycling things.

Hunting endangered animals should be prohibited; introducing exotic species into foreign habitats should be forbidden; and so forth. What is more, governments should support the reconstruction of their countries or other nations in need, due to the regular natural catastrophes – such as floods, droughts, hurricanes, earthquakes, and the like. Last but not least, governments should improve their safety measures because numerous economic and political crises have brought about an increase in crime and delinquency rates. They should focus their attention on: not only raising employment rates but also maintaining unwavering governance policies. To sum up, it is of vital importance to fulfill current human necessities. Instead of wasting funds on exploring the possibility of living on nearby planets, governments should concentrate on combating global pollution and coping with the economic and political doom of their nations.
