He has the power to make all the important appointments but all such appointments are to be approved by the senate

Appointments of The judges:The constitution says that federal appointments are to be made by the president.
Remoival of the officials
President has the power to remove any person appointed by him
Foreign Relations
The president has control of foreign relation which he conducts with the assistance of the secretary
Negotiates treaties
He can negotiates treaties with foreign power but the treaties must be ratified by a two-third majority of the senate.
Commander-in-chief of armed forces
He is the commander in chief of the armed force
Sending armed force
He can send the american armed forces to any part of the world

He decides whether H-bomb should be made or not
