Travel Experiences: Galicia, Budapest, and Venezuela
A Trip to Galicia
Good morning, I’m your tourist guide, and I’m going to speak about your trip to Galicia. We are starting our trip in 10 minutes. We are stopping to have breakfast on the way. When we arrive in Galicia, we are stopping in Santiago. We are taking you to the city center because that’s where the cathedral is. You can spend two hours there, and you can walk around the old town. We are picking you up at two o’clock, and we are having lunch at a restaurant on the outskirts. We are arriving in Coruña at about 4 o’clock. So you will have all evening to go sightseeing and go shopping. At 7 o’clock, we are picking you up in front of the Tower of Hercules. We are leaving Coruña to come back to Madrid at 7:15 PM. Please be punctual. I hope you enjoy your trip. Don’t be late.
Holiday in Budapest
Last August, I went on holiday to Budapest with my sister to visit some friends. My father took us to the airport and left us in front of the terminal. We went in and looked for the lift to go to departures. We went to the check-in desk. The ground staff weighed our suitcases and gave us the boarding cards. We bought some presents in the duty-free shop. Then, we went to gate number Y and boarded the plane. We had a good flight. It lasted 2 hours. When we arrived, there was a very long line at passport control. Then we went to baggage reclaim, and we picked up our luggage. We didn’t have anything to declare, so we went to arrivals, where our friends were waiting for us. We left the airport, and we took a taxi to the center.

A Visit This Summer
Thank you for your email. We’re very happy that you’re coming to stay with us this summer, and we’re sure you’re going to enjoy your stay with us. What time are you arriving at Stansted Airport? If you send us your flight number and arrival time, we can meet you in arrivals. Can you send us your mobile number too? Could you also give us some other information? What day are you going back to Croatia? Is there anything you can’t eat or drink? Do you want your own room, or do you prefer to share a room with another student? Is there anything special you would like to do or see in the UK? Looking forward to hearing from you. Best wishes. P.S. I’m attaching a photo of the family so you can recognize us at the airport.
