Determiners
- Articles: the, a, an
- Demonstrative: This, that, these, those, such
- Possessive: my, your, his, her, its, our, their
- Numbers: one, two, first, second, double
- Undefined: no, some, much, little, different, several, other, every, either
- Interrogative/Exclamatory: what, how much
- Possessive: whose, which
Pronouns
Two types:
- Deictic: Refers to an extralinguistic reality. (e.g., It’s for her)
- Anaphoric/Cataphoric: Refers to a reality present earlier in the text. (e.g., Rent a movie and we saw it yesterday)
Types of Pronouns
- Personal: I, me, you, he, him, she, her, it, we, us, they, them
- Relative: which, who, whom, whose, that
- Demonstrative: this, that, these, those
- Possessive: mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, theirs
- Numbers: three, four, etc.
- Indefinite: someone, anyone, anything, everything
- Interrogative/Exclamatory: what, who, how
